To promote the social well-being of people from socially or economically deprived communities in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. In particular, BUT not excluded by the provision of social skills, practical advice, workshops, etc. Focus on access to and understanding health and social care services, health promotion and education, and addressing social determinants of health and inequality.

Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:1. To Preserve, Protect And Promote The Physical And Mental Health Of People From Socially Or Economically Deprived Communities In Sheffield And The Surrounding Areas In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of Support Services, Practical Advice, Workshops And Events Focused On Access To And Understanding Of Healthcare Services.2. To Act As A Resource For Young People Living In Sheffield And The Surrounding Areas By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:a. Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;b. Advancing Education; C. Relieving Unemploymentd. Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.
