Para 1.20 | We set the foundation up in and started fundraising November 2020. This year we donated £6431 to charities. We raised £8471 through regular donations. We had contact with Oscar foundation Uk regarding their digital learning centres and donated £6000 to them. |

The objects of the CIO are, for the public benefit, to advance education amongst children and young people in India and the United Kingdom, primarily but not exclusively, by making grants to charities and individuals. Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the CIO for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. |

(b) No individual may be appointed as a charity trustee of the CIO: (i) if he or she is under the age of 18 years; or (ii) if he or she would automatically cease to hold office under the provisions outlined in clause 12.1(e). (c) No one is entitled to act as a charity trustee whether on appointment or on any re-appointment until he or she has expressly acknowledged, in whatever way the charity trustees decide, his or her acceptance of the office of charity trustee. 9.3 Number of charity trustees (a) There must be at least two charity trustees.
