Dereham Men Shed is an independent local charity, operating under the umbrella of the UK Men Sheds Association. The objective of our group is to promote social inclusion and help reduce isolation for the benefit of men in Dereham and its surrounding villages. This is achieved through working in partnership with other local groups to support our community and providing support to each other.

Objects: To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Engaging Adult Males Aged 18 And Over Within The Dereham Area Who May Be At Risk Of Social Isolation And To Relieve The Needs Of Those Who Are Socially Excluded By Assisting Them To Integrate In Society Through The Provision Of Facilities Where They Can Meet To Undertake, Jointly Or Individually For• Creative, Physical, Or Recreational Activities • Learning Or Passing On Skills Or Knowledge • Social Support.opportunities To Work In Partnership With Local Groups And Organisations To Support Our Community. For The Purpose Of This Clause 'socially Excluded' Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Or More Of The Following Factors: Unemployment, Financial Hardship, Bereavement, Old Age, Or Ill Health (physical Or Mental).
