TRUSTEES REPORT
It has been a year of quiet consolidation for the Vizsla Health Trust. A full restart of the genetic research in to Vizsla Inflammatory Polymyopathy (VIP) is not yet on the horizon but we are pleased to report that the Canine Genetics Centre at Cambridge have agreed to supply us with DNA collection kits (at cost) and to receive and safely store the samples that we continue to collect from affected dogs and their close relatives. This will ensure the integrity of the research material and its ready availability in the event that it proves possible to resume the vizsla work. We remain hopeful that this will happen and are determined to support the project with further funding

Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come to my attention in connection wlh the examinalion {other than Ihal disclosed below ") which gives me cause to lIeVe that in, any material respect.. the accounting records Vre not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charrties Act., or the accounts did not accord vrith the accounting records,. or the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements Conrning the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulab'ons 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection wilh the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in orderto enable a proper understanding of the accounts lo be reached.
