A full restart of the genetic research in to Vizsla Inflammatory Polymyopathy (VIP) is not yet on the horizon but we are pleased to report that the Canine Genetics Centre at Cambridge have agreed to supply us with DNA collection kits (at cost) and to receive and safely store the samples that we continue to collect from affected dogs and their close relatives. This will ensure the integrity of the research material and its ready availability in the event that it proves possible to resume the vizsla work.
