charity’s work has made to

Para 1.20 The Trustees have been involved in the
process of transferring funds and assets
from the old charity to the CIO. The
enabling documents were authorised and
signed in August 2024, and have now been
submitted to the Charity Commission and
Land Registry. The transfer date was set
for 1 January 2025, and the CIO will be in
full operation from then.
Plans for the future include -
- the maintenance of regular Sunday
worship
- provision and development of children’s
and youth work. The recruitment of a full-
time children’s and families worker was
underway, and this is expected to be
finalised early in 2025.
- all-round support (spiritual, prayerful,
practical) to those in need, with a particular

responsibility to elderly and vulnerable members of the church membership. This activity is supported by a visiting team and a number of home groups - provision of a Saturday morning drop-in for shoppers, and other visitors to the town - involvement of church members in the local food bank and other communitybased initiatives, to provide help and support to the most needy in the community.
