The<br>enabling documents were authorised and<br>signed in August 2024, and have now been<br>submitted to the Charity Commission and<br>Land Registry. The transfer date was set<br>for 1 January 2025, and the CIO will be in<br>full operation from then.<br>Plans for the future include -<br>- the maintenance of regular Sunday<br>worship<br>- provision and development of children’s<br>and youth work. The recruitment of a full-<br>time children’s and families worker was<br>underway, and this is expected to be<br>finalised early in 2025.<br>- all-round support (spiritual, prayerful,<br>practical) to those in need, with a particular|





responsibility to elderly and vulnerable members of the church membership. This activity is supported by a visiting team and a number of home groups - provision of a Saturday morning drop-in for shoppers, and other visitors to the town - involvement of church members in the local food bank and other communitybased initiatives, to provide help and support to the most needy in the community.
