Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	(a) providing free Cancer care hampers to those affected by Cancer within the Staffordshire area (b) promoting and assisting in additional support that provide relief from the effects of Cancer treatment such as, but not exclusively to Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. (c) making grants from time to time to organisations within Staffordshire that provide care and or guidance, help and support to those affected by cancer (d) by raising awareness of all cancers to promote early Cancer detection and to save lives for the public benefit. (e) the provision of financial assistance, support, education andpractical advice .
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	Para 1.17 and 1.19	The Foundation has supplied Care Hampers to those going through Cancer treatment in Staffordshire. The hampers contain all the essential items one would need to start treatment. We have held a successful event called “The Hamper March” which allows people to walk a marathon over a one monthperiod whilst

		raising funds and awareness for our Foundation. Upon completion they received a medal. The even this year was organised by our Trusstee Claire Cale. Our "Cosy for Chemo" scheme, where we supplied warm fleeces to those going through Cancer, continued into January. It was a great success and ensured people going through Cancer could stay warm due to the cost of living crisis. In total we donated nearly 300 fleeces. We have advertised the importance of self checking for Cancer on our social media and have also gone to Cancer groups to discuss our objectives and also the importance of self checkingfor Cancer.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	During this financial year we recieved 165 Hamper Requests. Each Hamper was personalised specifically for the recipient and contained all the essential items they will need to start treatment. The hamper requests are usually from friends and family members and on occasions the Cancer patient refer themselves. The Hampers are then picked up from Pauline's house in Hednesford and dropped off by their loved ones. We especially love the idea of family and friends distributing the hampers as it is a way for them to show they are with them every step of the way. We have had some lovely comments from those recieving hampers and their family and friends saying just how much of a boost it has provided. We ran our second "Hamper March" event where supporters walked the distance of a marahon throughout March whilst raising funds for our cause. We distributed free extra warm fleeces to those going through Cancer treatment through our "Cosyfor Chemo" initiative.

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	INCOME The income during this financial period was £29,692.73. £11,280.60 of this income came from donations from Businesses or organisations. Some of the larger donations were:- - £1125 donation from Tesco. This was following members of the public choosing to vote for us using their "blue tokens" after shopping. We came first and won the top prize which was really heartwarming and the trustees are truly thankful for this. - £515 donation from the Rugeley Womens Darts Team. £3250 was donated by the Staffordshire County Council Members Fund. The breakdown was as follows:- Cllr Phil Hewitt £500, Cllr Samantha Thompson (£250), Cllr Phillipa Haden (£500), Cllr Mike Sutherland (£500), Cllr Paul Snape (£500), Cllr Peter Kruskonjic (£500), Cllr Johnny McMahon (£500). - £2710.85 was donated by The SongBirds in Harmony. They held a concert and donated profits to our cause. It was a lovely night.

		- £2225 was donated by The Chase Social Club. They held a fundraiser which included a comedian and was a great success. £7844.34 was donated to us through the giving platform JustGiving. £4043.94 was donated to us through Facebook. EXPENDITURE The expenditure for the financial year was £14,458.51. Our largest expenditure was purchasing the items for our Hampers. This totalled £9643.38 (up from £8053 last year). Due to the cost of living crisis the cost of each hamper has increased. The trustees however always shop around the get the best deals for the Foundation. £995.99 was spent on purchasing medals for our Hamper March event through "Running Imp". These were distributed to participants after they had completed the challenge of walking the distance of a marathon throghout March. £1587.95 was spent on the website ONLINEHOMESHOP.COM which was the purchase of fleeces for our "Cosy for Chemo" initiative. Our website (www.TheKatherineAllport.Foundation)and email running costs were £650.35. Our email provider is IONOS and we are billed £18 month for this. Our domain name is hosted by squarespace.

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
