Trustees are open to members of the public
giving donations and offerings. We also do
not have an objection to members of the
public who may also choose to offer a
specific financial gift to the organization and
can name it “for missions/priests or
ministry”. In such a case the trustees would
record this appropriately and ensure that
the finances are offered as a gift. Thus, we
are open as trustees to offering
honorariums to those who facilitate
services and as our fellowship grows for
example when we have special services or
occasions and we have local or visiting
priests, and where funds through donations
will permit then we do intend to pay
reasonable expenses.

only if they contribute to the achievement of

1. Volunteers speaking at different service

informed and is in accordance with the
Bible Believers Fellowship – Leeds
statement of Faith in Leeds and such
other parts of the United Kingdom.
2. In relation to volunteers who have been
contributing their time in foodbank
duties, attending at wholesalers who
donate food to the Bible Believers
Fellowship foodbank.
3. In this time the volunteers offer weekly,
they sort out food packages that
members of who need it then collect.
4. Distributing where appropriate, food to
vulnerable members in the public who
need it, such as the elderly etc

reserves, is an important part of
maintaining the charity’s financial
resilience.
In order to the charity to run efficiently the
financial needs and risks include rentals,
and fuel and other such necessary
items/incurred costs. Thus, the Charity
needs reserve funds that the trustees can
draw on in case of need.
Furthermore, the Bible believers Fellowship
Leeds Charity’s aim is to secure their own
building and these reserves will in due
course contribute to that should this
become possible.

risks facing the charity
Para 1.46 In the Period 01/09/2020 to 31/08/2021 the
Charity met and exceeded its Charitable
objectives and achieved well. There are no
concerns, however it is important to
acknowledge that the charity partly
depends on donations to continue to pay
for ongoing costs and also partly food
donations in order to continue to serve
those members of the public in need. At
present there are no risk concerns.
Other Health Risks: The food we receive is mostly
from Wholesalers and we have strict food
safety guidelines to adhere to which include
destroying food that is damaged or that has
not been kept to appropriate food hygiene
standards. From food received form the
public we only accept tinned/canned foods.
The food is at all times kept in clean
environments including refrigerating fresh
products.
In terms of dietary requirements, we inform
all recipients of the importance of allergy
warnings and awareness, and all food are
labelled.
