Para 1.17 | To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in England and Wales who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed (in particular, members of the Afghan community) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, in particular by: 1) providing a local network group that encourages and enables members of the Afghan community to participate more effectively with the wider community; 2) increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for members of the Afghan community to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community. |

Para 1.20 | Speen Ghar has Provided support and organised programmes of physical, educational and leisure time activities for the young people of our community, to help develop their skills, capacities and capabilities, and empower them to make positive decisions that prevent them from taking an interest toward drugs and crime and to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. Through hosting Eid events we have brought the Afghan community closer helping them feel at home, as well as enabling them to celebrate with their loved ones whilst meeting new individuals in the community. This has helped strengthen the local Afghan community specially the young adults who are able to seek advice and help from their elders and the charity itself. |
