Sophia Point will conserve an area of pristine rainforest in the Guiana Shield and drive forward vital research in an unexplored corner of the planet. We will help deliver world-leading, in-depth analysis of the rainforest, wildlife and climate, driven by local, Guyanese research and science.
Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public Both In Guyana And Globally In The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of The Rainforest By:- Support To Conservation Research Through The Provision Of A Rainforest Research Site At Sophia Point Guyana- The Dissemination Of Public Information Including The Useful Results Of Such Conservation Research Produced By Or On Behalf Of The Charity Through On-Line Platforms And Other Media.- Working With The University Of Guyana And Other Research Institutions To Offer Opportunities For Accessible Environmental Science Research.
