Financial Review
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 |
During the period under review, the charity continued to operate on a modest financial basis while expanding its activities and exploring more sustainable funding options. Trustees actively pursued multiple grant funding opportunities during the year; however, these applications were not successful within the reporting period. In addition to individual donations, the charity undertook a community-based health screening event which also generated voluntary contributions towards its activities. The charity also engaged in crowdfunding initiatives to support specific projects. Trustee discussions during the year focused on diversifying income streams, including continued crowdfunding, further grant applications, and consideration of third-party fundraising platforms. While no formal commitment has yet been made to subscription-based fundraising services due to cost considerations, these options may be reviewed in future periods as the charity’s financial capacity grows. |
