to reach more individuals and make a broader community impact. To overcome winter challenges, we secured allweather pitches, ensuring uninterrupted training and matches. Over the past year, we have successfully enhanced the physical and mental well-being of our members, fostering skills like teamwork, leadership, and a strong sense of community.

Recognition & Achievements

In September 2023, our Club Founder, Adel Chermiti, was celebrated as a community hero by Leeds United FC and Cadbury for his outstanding contributions across the city. This recognition, which included special events at Thorpe Park Academy and social media features, highlights the dedication of everyone involved with Leeds Hyde Park FC.

We were also proud to finish as runnersup for the West Riding FA Award for Club of the Year. Additionally:

Women’s Team Growth

With support from a Football Development Manager throughout the season, we expanded our women’s program to four teams, making significant strides in promoting women’s football and encouraging broader participation.

Making Football Accessible

To ensure inclusivity, our trustees sponsored local girls to play football free

3

of charge for the entire season and beyond. We extended this initiative to children from financially challenged families, reaffirming our commitment to making football accessible to all. Coaching & Volunteer Development By expanding our coaching staff and volunteer base, we’ve enhanced the quality of training and support available across all teams. Continued investment in coaching development has led to stronger teams and better overall football development.

Strategic Growth Plans

Starting in May 2025, we will launch a five-year strategy focused on long-term growth, community engagement, and sustained success. Community Connections & Fundraising

As the largest football club in the city, we have built valuable partnerships with local universities, community organizations, and businesses. Fundraising events and donations from local businesses have provided essential support for our continued growth.

Looking Ahead We anticipate a 30% membership growth in the upcoming season, welcoming more families and players into the club.
