SORP reference

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.

Para 1.20
We do not turn anyone away and have
sponsored some of our members, which has
made a huge diference in the past year with
the cost of living increasing for all. Many of
the families we help are disadvantaged and
would not be able to access these services
and facilites elsewhere, partcularly as an
inner-city club. We have grown in the
number of members in the past year and are
helping more and more people. We managed
to keep our services running by hiring
throughout the winter when weather makes
pitches unplayable by providing access to all-
weather pitches. Our women’s team won the
league they were competng in, an incredible
achievement considering just a few years ago
they were a group of strangers kicking a ball
around in the park. Overall in the last year,
we have helped our benefciaries improve
their physical and mental health by providing
safe access to facilites, and taught them
important lessons in teamwork and
leadership as well as a sense of belonging in
the community.
