2) Worldwide webinars – The last 2.5 years
have been difficult globally, with the
SarsCOV2 virus continuing to impose
restrictions and health emergencies
worldwide. There have been silver
linings however, and in 2021 the
Society launched the DOHaD Worldwide
webinars as a new opportunity for
Members to keep in touch and share
novel findings in DOHaD research. The
last year has continued to showcase
DOHaD research around the world,
featuring a webinar on the first
Wednesday of each month. These free
webinars are composed of a 30-minute
presentation, followed by a Q&A and
panel discussion.
3) Our membership has bounced back and
has grown to 1021 members. DOHaD
members can now be found from 68
different countries with the greatest
representation in Australia, Canada,
China, France, Japan, Pakistan, UK and
USA. Currently, Membership is
composed of Associate Members (1%),
Standard Members (63%), Trainees
(33%) and Undergraduates (3%). 32%
of our Members are from low to middle
income countries.
4) The Society’s largest activity, the 2022
World Congress will be held in August,
at Vancouver, Canada and will be
reported on in the 2022-23 Trustee’s
Annual Report.
5) The Society continues to support
research through its Journal (JDOHaD)
that saw an annual increase up from
2.34 in 2019 to 3.034 in 2021. The
Journal continues to publish both

Supplements and Themed Issues. 16 articles were published in the 2021 volume. Brazil is the country that submits the greatest number of manuscripts, and its sits at #2 as the country with the greatest number of acceptances.

Trustee selection Para 1.25 1. Elections are held bi-annually, to

members or announced at the AGM.
5. The charity trustees may in addition
appoint not more than 2 co-opted
charity trustees but so that no-one
may be appointed as a co-opted
member if, as a result, more than one
third of the charity trustees would be
co-opted. Each appointment of a co-
opted member shall be made at a
special meeting of the charity
trustees called under clause 19(c)

and shall take effect from the end of that meeting unless the appointment is to fill a place which has not been vacated in which case the appointment shall run from the date when the post becomes vacant. 6. The members of the CIO or the charity trustees may at any time decide to appoint a new charity trustee, whether in place of a charity trustee who has retired or been removed in accordance with clause 15 (Retirement and removal of charity trustees), or as an additional charity trustee, provided that the limit specified in clause 12(3) on the number of charity trustees would not as a result be exceeded. 7. A person so appointed by the members of the CIO shall retire in accordance with the provisions of sub-clauses (2) and (3) of this clause. A person so appointed by the charity trustees shall retire at the conclusion of the next annual general meeting after the date of his or her appointment, and shall not be counted for the purpose of determining which of the charity trustees is to retire by rotation at that meeting.
