Para 1.20 | The main activities of the club have been the continuance of fundraising by means of the Hastings Half Marathon and bucket collections. This year we have donated £64,280.78 to good causes. The majority of donations have gone to local good causes but we still support certain national and international requests. Some of the major beneficiaries are listed below: Albany Taxi Charity Fairlight Disabled Riding Hastings & Rother YMCA Kids Cancer Hastings Music Festival Hastings Foodbank Care for the Carers Westfield Community St Leonards Bowls Club Westerleigh Judokwai WCA Productions Hastings Furniture Service Hollington Primary School Hastings Week Committee Beckley Craft Market Rye Harbour Sailability Salvation Army Handicapped Child Action Group Drawing Life Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Marsham Project Pett Level Rescue Boat Lossie Long Christmas Meals Various Hastings Scout Groups And a variety of individual small grants to local individuals and organisations supporting disabled, disadvantaged and youth and National and International appeals for disaster relief. |
