1.Lions Clubs International District 105 CN CIO Foundation.

1.1Legal Status

The District is governed by its constitution and is under the jurisdiction of The International Association of Lions Clubs, Oak Brook, Illinois, USA.

The CIO Foundation was registered on the 29[t][h] June 2020 under registration number 11 9 0 1 5 8. The Trustees may invest any monies required to be invested in or upon the security of such stocks, funds, shares, securities or other investments for the time being authorised by law for the investment of trust monies with power to the trustees to vary such investments for others of a like nature.

1.2 CIO Foundation

The prime function of the CIO Foundation has been to receive donations raised by clubs and to distribute the income to various identified beneficiaries.

Details of from contributions, fees and other sources, and payments are given in Appendix 1 that accompanies this report.

2.Financial Statements

Financial statements covering all aspects of the financial operation of the District accompany this Report: Appendices 2 - Charity Account for the year to 30th June 2022

2.1 Accounting Policies

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) Accounting by Charities, 2005.
