Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our activities
were greatly reduced.
To work towards our mission of empowering
our communities and promoting social action so
every resident has access to and the
opportunity to contribute towards local quality
green spaces we started planning a number of
projects and events to help connect people with
nature in their local area. We received funds to
help with the start up of the charity from a
successful grant application. We joined a local
Community Action Groups network to benefit
from and contribute towards knowledge sharing
between groups. We conducted surveys and
started some community engagement work to
better understand the wider community’s
interest in local green spaces.
