Activities
PiPA promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in the performing arts by preventing and discouraging discrimination. PiPA does this by providing information, advice, guidance and conducting research into the challenges faced by carers and parents in the sector. PiPA aims to promote and advance better working practices across the performing arts.
Objects: To Promote Equality, Diversity And Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Reducing, Preventing And Discouraging Discrimination And The Resulting Barriers In Both The Workforce (In Particular But Not Exclusively Within The Performing Arts Industry) And Wider Society; Including By(i) Promoting And Advancing Better Working Practices, And(ii) Providing Information, Advice, Guidance And Counselling For People In Work Or Seeking Work (Particularly But Not Exclusively In The Performing Arts) Including About Their Rights And Entitlements And The Provision Of Care For Dependents (Including Those With Disabilities); And(iii) Promoting And Carrying Out Research For The Public Benefit And Publishing Or Otherwise Disseminating The Useful Results Of Such Research
