Our main activities for the year were to find areas needing donations and try to make others aware of these places. The trustees went to India with a group of people and made them aware of some of the difficulties faced by the less fortunate. We expect to continue to find new opportunities and make others aware of these and encourage them to donate. |
| Statement confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit |
Para 1.18 | The charity has considered the Commission’s guidance on public benefit. |

Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | This year was a good step in the right direction. To start with, the Charity provided funds to various other charities in the UK – Cancer research, NSPCC and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Funds for these donations were raised by the Trustees from their own companies. Later on in the year, the trustees found a hospital in India which helped people from poor backgrounds. They went to India with a group of people from the UK and made them aware of this hospital. At the hospital, there was a need for new dialysis machines which would help many who are unable to pay for treatment. The Trustees donated more money from their companies into the Charity and the machine was purchased in December 2022. It has already helped many people. More donations were made directly to the hospital, including money for another dialysis machine by other individuals who went to the hospital with the trustees. One individual made the donation through the charity for treatment of eye |
diseases, which is another area the hospital specialises in. This was a new source of funding for the charity and we hope to encourage many more to donate in this way going forwards. We will continue to look for more areas where we can help people in a similar way.
