**To start with, the Charity provided funds**
**to various other charities in the UK –**
**Cancer research, NSPCC and Great**
**Ormond Street Hospital. Funds for these**
**donations were raised by the Trustees**
**from their own companies.**
**Later on in the year, the trustees found**
**a hospital in India which helped people**
**from poor backgrounds. They went to**
**India with a group of people from the UK**
**and made them aware of this hospital.**
**At the hospital, there was a need for**
**new dialysis machines which would**
**help many who are unable to pay for**
**treatment. The Trustees donated more**
**money from their companies into the**
**Charity and the machine was purchased**
**in December 2022. It has already helped**
**many people. More donations were**
**made directly to the hospital, including**
**money for another dialysis machine by**
**other individuals who went to the**
**hospital with the trustees. One**
**individual made the donation through**
**the charity for treatment of eye**| **diseases, which is another area the hospital specialises in. This was a new source of funding for the charity and we hope to encourage many more to donate in this way going forwards.
