The courts (x2) were resurfaced with an all
weather material which improves the
playing surface for all ages and in all
weathers.
A practice wall was also installed to
enable players to practice their tennis
skills .
Membership
The number of members was 155
Coaching
Coaching sessions returned and included
after school club sessions, weekend
sessions, tennis camps during school
holidays.Leeds City Council’s Outer North
East Community Committee provided
grant funding for our Head Coach to work
with girls in after school clubs at x2 local
primary schools following the initiative
from the LTA on trying to increase the
number of girls who play tennis.
Junior teams continue to participate in a
recognised local league.
Adult coaching continues weekly for men
and women and many players now
organise games between themselves
regularly.

University of the Third Age-weekly
sessions, competitive events, more

members have now joined the group and the tennis club, tennis holidays now a yearly event for this group Rusty Racquets These sessions continue weekly throughout the year. Open Days and celebrations We were able to hold x2 Open Days to showcase our new courts and practice wall. We also celebrated 50 years as a tennis club by holding a themed 70s party in our local pub for adults with a community choir singing songs from the 70s. We also held a special 50[th] party for juniors at the courts.Other celebrations for juniors includedHallowe’en Christmas Easter
