Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
● ministry to the people through canonical services conducted according to the order and tradition of the Bulgarian Orthodox Diocese of Western and Central Europe, at the Bulgarian Orthodox Church – Bulgarian Patriarchate. In the first year of operation, due to the continuing Coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions imposed by the UK government on the gathering and assembly of people, as well as the restricted use of church and religious spaces, The Charity has been unable to conduct the full range of services to the public the it set out to do. Because of the aforementioned circumstances, the Charity hasn't been able to attract the funds required to begin full operations. Organisationally we have been holding online meetings and been able to appoint Welfare Officer and start the Charity web site. We have also been able to fill all the forms necessary to open a bank account, so we are ready and hopeful to begin pursuing the objectives that the Charity set out to do.
The Charity had an income of £100 in the year and is therefore not required to have an independent examination. As the charity is below the audit threshold it has chosen to prepare a simple annual report. The report and the accounts and all future reports are to be made to the last day of May / 31[st] May/ in order to simplify the accounting periods.
