Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To advance public education, appreciation and understanding of the arts of historical music and dance through the exploration of the work of the English dancer, scholar and choreographer John Weaver, highlighting the rich, innovative and diverse nature of the London stage in the early 1700s with new dramatic theatrical events and educating the public in the same.

Our charitable purposes are to present concerts, lectures, workshops and stage performances to educate and inform the general public about the origin and development of the work of John Weaver, birth of ballet and music of the early 18[th] century.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
We gave several performances of our two shows and helped to create and develop the John Weaver Festival to be held in Shrewsbury in July 2023 for the 350th Anniversary of Weaver’s birth. Throughout this year we have taken the commission’s public benefit guidance into account when making all decisions relevant to our procedures and actions.
