Activities

The Trust maintains a museum of firefighting in the Greater Manchester region. It manages a collection of fire engines, equipment, uniforms, medals etc, which is open to the public. The operation is run entirely by volunteers. Working in partnership with the Fire and Rescue Service, it also operates a dedicated education programme for schools.

Objects: (1) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The History And Development Of The Fire And Rescue Services In Greater Manchester And To Preserve And Restore For The Public Benefit Artefacts And Other Associated Items In Connection With The Fire And Rescue Services.(2) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Fire Safety.
