Activities
Mixtup is a free, beneficial led youth cub for young people aged 11-25 with mixed abilities. We meet in a wheelchair accessible venue in central Swansea We provide regular youth club activities and wellbeing sessions, organise trips, support young people to take part in other opportunities such as training, consultations or events and offer 1:1 support when needed.
Objects: To Relieve The Needs Of Young People Aged 11-25 Of Mixed Abilities (Includingadditional Physical, Learning, Cognitive And/or Emotional Requirements) Inswansea And The Surrounding Areas Through:a) The Provision Of Accessible Recreational And Leisure Time Activities, Provided Inthe Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Overall Conditions In Life.b) Providing Support, Activities And Opportunities Which Develop Their Skills,confidence And Aspirations To Encourage Them To Reach Their Potential Asindividuals And As Actively Participating Members Of Societyc) Informing And Educating Service Providers And The General Public About Therights, Requirements, Abilities And Potential Of Children And Young People Ofmixed Abilities.d) Advocating For Children And Young People Of Mixed Abilities And Supporting Andencouraging Them To Speak Out For Themselves In Order To Improve Their Overallconditions In Life.
