and the move oflocation ofthe Museum
from Amport House, Hampshire
to the Defence Academy,

Oxfordshire
in March 2020, and though Trustee meetings
have been held via
Zoom Conferencing
and planning
for the future has taken place, it has not
been possible this year to conduct the main activities
in relation to the objects
ofthe Charity.
For example, there is currently
no Museum
in existence in a physical
sense in
that the building
in which it is due to be contained
will not be built until late
2021, and the artefacts are currently
held in storage.
However,
prior to its official re-opening,
at which it is hoped to invite
Royalty, the Museum
will advertise
its presence through
National,
Regional
and local printed
and online guides to museums
and places ofinterest.
There is a steady flow ofenquires
from members ofthe public via the internet,
and afee is charged for historical research. It is expected that the number of
visitors to the museum
will increase over previous
numbers
at Amport, once it
is re-opened
at the Defence Academy.
