| Throughout the workl's worst puBic health criidis in living memory, we |

| have been acutely aware ofthe inequalities exacerbated by the |
|||||
| pandemic's fockdowns and restrictions on in-person suppart. We have |
|||||
| adapted tothis admirably, keeping up asteady stree m ofvirtual events |
|||||
| and projects which have helped sustain asense ofsolidarity and | |||||
| belonging ta a group that can often struggle to reconcile two parts of | |||||
| their identities. | |||||
| In short, queer Muslims may feel ovt af place or like they need to | |||||
| suppress their faith in queer spaces, where being a person offaith is | |||||
| canflated with an assumption that religion isInherently oppressive, bvt |

| they may also aot feel like they belong In Muslim spaces, where |
|||||
| queerness isseen as incompatible with Islam. The Hldayah website has |

| resources that answer these questions, that examine reggious scripture | |||||
