TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS ACROSS THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND, BY ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, EQUIPMENT AND AWAREANESS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Summary of the objects of the THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO LOCAL HEALTH SERVICES AND charity set out in its OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS; PROVIDING SERVICED governing document DEFIBRILLATORS FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC SPACES; PROVIDING TRAINING AND EDUCATION ON THE USE OF DEFIBRILLATORS AND CPR; TO ADVANCE SUPPORT FOR BABIES, CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH HEART PROBLEMS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

DURING THE YEAR, TRUSTEES AGREED TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF GRANTS MADE, DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID19 ON INCOME GENERATION. THIS WAS A TEMPORARY MEASURE AND WILL BE REVIEWED BY TRUSTEES ONCE FUNDRAISING IMPROVES. WHILE SOME GRANTS OR PART-GRANTS WERE MADE, THESE WERE ASSESSED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.

Section D Achievements and erformance p THIS WAS THE FIRST YEAR OF OPERATION FOR THE CHARITY. Summary of the main THE CHARITY STARTED FUNDRAISING IN ORDER TO BUILD UP achievements of the charity INCOME TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE DEFIBRILLATORS; during the year DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO APPROPRIATE BENEFICIARIES; AND TO START TO DELIVER CPR AND DEFIBRILLATOR USE EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS.
THE COVID19 PANDEMIC ADVERSELY IMPACTED THE CHARITY’S ABILITY TO DELIVER FACE-TO-FACE SESSIONS THEREFORE BRIEFLY REVERTED TO ONLINE SESSIONS.
DURING THIS YEAR THE CHARITY PROVIDED 23 DEFIBRILLATORS INTO COVID WARDS AT SUNDERLAND ROYAL HOSPITAL. A MOBILITY TRICYCLE WAS PROVIDED TO A YOUNG GIRL WITH DISABILITIES RELATED TO CEREBRAL PALSY.
