Chair person report:

FBC opening event - 5th October 2019 Cubs with grant 12th Nov

Hampshire Santa 1st December - Josh, Steph and Petey Scouts with Jacqueline 2nd December Tesco Wokingham Collection 10th Dec broad street mail weekend 26 & 26[th] January 2020

The Div 1 players played against team from Jaguars, London Titians, Aces, CWBA, The Bears and Blackhawks. Scoring a massive 659 points and conceding 314 (points different 345)

The Div 3 players played against teams from Swansea Storm, Plymouth Raiders, The Bears, Derby Wheelblazers , CWBA and Blackhawks. Scoring an impressive 392 points and conceding 347 (points different 45)

The junior players were also looking forward to 2 tournaments that would have taken place in the summer, Regional national Championship and School Games, if it had not been for Covid-19 putting a stop to these. Several of the Kings coaches, officials and Volunteers had been selected to coach / officiate and Volunteer at these events.

A massive Thank you to everyone how has helped out with the club over the last year, it’s made a big difference. The club is run by 100% volunteer time; thank you to the Trustee, table officials and those that help out on match days. Thank you to the coaching volunteers Grant, Pat, Peter R, Reece and Denise who give up so much of their time to coach. A massive thank you also to Peter S for all his hard work on the social media front for raising Kings profile, and for the times when i couldn't do what I normally do for stepping in and helping out. Thank You to you all for making Kings what it is today.

Accounts:

Dave explained the accounts as below and stated that there was a full itemised accounts if anyone wanted to look at them.

Dave stated that £2800 on club cost (storage and insurance ) per year is running cost without any basketball taking place. Petey stated that CIO status will open funding streams and that fundraising subcommittee will have to work hard.

Election of Club Ofcers: (names are current position holders)

Petey stated that Event co-coordinator role would remain vacant due to covid-19.

all the following will remain in their current positions without re-election as they are mid-term of appointment - there were no objections

– Subscriptions per month paid as a standing order

This includes Saturday training session fee, league fees and match fees. However we noted that there was unlikely to be a league this coming season due to the current covid-19 restrictions and being in lockdown 2.0

agreed on £15 a month paid as a standing order for all players. With a note that anyone struggling to pay for training could speak with trustees.

Thanks also to Grant for arranging for the GB and USA mens players to talk to the members of Kings. A massive thank you also to Peter S for all his hard work on the social media front for raising Kings profile, and for the times when i couldn't do what I normally do for stepping in and helping out. £40 for those who do 2x sessions a week, £35 for those doing one session and week Both of these figures would be for league players To start from october when the league starts.

We can look at funding available re trip to Glasgow
