Our main activities in the reporting period have been: • Fundraising for the first second trishaws • Purchase of the first trishaw (received 4 May 2020) • Recruitment and training of pilots, due to covid care home based • Build relationships with local care homes • Development of training package • Development of a online booking system Provision of trishaw rides in Kennington and Oxford for the benefit of care home residents |

Para 1.20 | During the year ended 5 April 2025, Cycling Without Age Oxfordshire deliveredover 250 free trishaw rides, covering122 miles, and providing more than 340 hoursof supported outdoor time and companionship for isolated and vulnerable adults, including older people and those with restricted mobility across Oxfordshire. These rides enabled beneficiaries to get safely outdoors, enjoy fresh air and local surroundings, and experience meaningful social connection through relaxed conversation with trained volunteer pilots—helping to reduce isolation and strengthen people’s sense of belonging within their community. The charity also delivered wider public benefit by engagingover 40 volunteers, increasing their physical activity and supporting positive wellbeing through purposeful community action. The rides created opportunities forintergenerational connection, shared memories and local stories, which were celebrated both in person and through digital channels, helping to build community cohesion and raise awareness of the needs and experiences of older and less mobile residents. |
