Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The start of this reporting period saw the continued training of volunteers and contact with care homes in the Kidlington and Woodstock areas for the 2[nd] trishaw. The 2[nd] trishaw has been used extensively where possible by trustees and volunteers to take local community residents out for rides.
The 2 trishaws in use in this reporting period have been extensively used mainly from Spring through to early Winter. While in the Christmas period when outside temperatures are significantly lower (or there is more extensive rain period), the trishaws have still be put to good use for specific events over the Christmas and Halloween periods: generating interest among volunteers and passengers.
Through our social media presence the Charity has raised its profile locally and across the country, receiving interest and enquiries from individuals and groups wishing to provide and run a trishaw in their local communities.
