Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The charity launched just after the start of
the pandemic which restricted our ability to
training and provide rides. We switched to
care home based rides and provided rides
for care home residents in Kennington and
Oxford. These rides provide great joy for
passengers (and pilots). Passengers,
carers and family provided very positive
feedback on the rides and their effect on
the passengers’ well-being.
Through our social media presence the
Charity has raised its profile locally and
across the country, receiving interest and
enquiries from individuals and groups
wishing to provide and run a trishaw in their
local communities.

Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 £32 balance at the end of our second
financial year. All of the last year surplus
(roughly £9k) was used to purchase the
second trishaw (Kidlington trishaw). That
leaves a small but sufficient positive
position to cover ongoing costs of activities
and further fundraising for new trishaws.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 We hold sufficient cash in the bank to
continue the charitable activities for one
year in advance to cover insurance and
servicing of the trishaw. All funds are held
in a charity account at the Cooperative
bank.
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 £100
Reasons for holding zero
reserves
Para 1.22 Not applicable
Details of fund materially in
deficit
Para 1.24 Not applicable
Explanation of any
uncertainties about the
charity continuing as a going
concern
Para 1.23 Not applicable

(trust deed, royal charter)

Para 1.25

2

Trustee selection methods
including details of any
constitutional provisions e.g.

any person or body entitled
to appoint one or more
trustees
