The main objective of NBCC is a fellowship of Christians committed to being and making disciples of Jesus Christ. To achieve this we hold worship and praise services which provide opportunity for Christian teaching and the Gospel message. We hold separate teaching, prayer session and outreach session in the local area.
We achieve this with the support of other Churches and Christians in both the local and wider UK area.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
We seek to be a friendly and welcoming Church, encouraging anyone to attend. We run services and activities for children and younger people and encourage them to be involved in the main Sunday service.
Our aim Is to promote the Christian Gospel, and to reach out into the local community by showing the love of Jesus in both our words and actions, seeking to bring people into a closer relationship with Him, our Saviour.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The Church services on Sunday morning at the Church premises and over Zoom, are the main focus of the ministry. The Zoom recordings are made available to stream for those unable to attend.
We have finalised plans for our three Conventions at the Church, Easter, Summer and Autumn, where we invite people from across the Country to attend. Our friend and minister, James Kotey from Ghana will also join us at the Spring and Summer conventions.
We continue to have weekly Coffee mornings at the Church each Friday, which is open to anyone to attend.
We continue with the monthly outreach in the town centre, an opportunity to reach people who do not ordinarily attend church, and to offer to pray for people in need.
We continue to support local Christian projects in particular 58:7, a feeding programme for the homeless in Basildon, which runs 7 nights a week. Also the School Teams Ministry which goes out to the majority of the Basildon Primary schools to take their assemblies once every half term.
