Activities and Performance

1- Wellbeing and Health awareness program:

During the Covid - 19 pandemic, Nepali Samaj Nottingham provided online yoga and meditation program to help to cope with the stress arising from Covid-19. Approximately 250 members and children of the families. Program was delivered through online medium using zoom. Majority of the members benefitted from the campaign. Programs was conducted in March, April and May 2021.

2- Support for Covid victims:

During the pandemic between March 2020 to the date . People who suffered from Covid -19 were supported to purchase the food and collect medicines during their isolation. The program ran throughout the year.

3-English Language for women was organised by Nepali Samaj Nottingham to support improve English language to women with less English knowledge. Approximately 35 women befitted from this course. The program ran for 1 year.

4- Career Consultation for women and men: career consultation as well as the integration program was organised through virtual mediums to help boost their career and career support to those wanting to change their career. People who were involved in English languages were the one mostly benefitted from this program. There were two virtual and one physical meeting.

5- Art competition for children:

Art competition for children were organised by the women’s wing of Nepali Samaj Nottingham to involve and encourage young children. Two physical sessions were organised.

6- After the Covid restrictions were lifted, Nepali Samaj Nottingham organised two grand Nepalese festivals in September and October 2021.
