Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
During the course of the year membership of the club started at 25 and ended at 29 volunteers. The main activities are shown at Section C above. The main achievements were maintaining the high profile of the club within the local community and organising events which both served the community and raised funds for good causes. The Beer Festival continues to be a significant success and the community lunch also provided support and friendship for members of the community who might not otherwise have the opportunity to. Requests for grants were able to be met from funds raised where it was agreed to offer assistance and the club administration fund (not collected from the public – only internal) remained in good standing.
