During this year we received £1,000 donations from both Portsmouth City Council and Marks &Spencer.

Section F Other optional information

On preparing the Receipts and Payments Account and comparing it to the figures for the previous year it was found that two expenditure figures had been incorrectly categorised.

A comparison highlighted that, for 2021-22, Contract Services should have been £34,290 instead of £3,143 declared and Wages/Salaries/NI/Pensions should have been £31,624 instead of £62,771 declared. The total figure for these two items of expenditure was correct – only the categorisation was not correct. This has been highlighted with the Charities Commission who have confirmed that no rectification is necessary to the Account and Reports declared for 2021-22.

Both Contract and Payroll figures are higher than previously due to opening a second gymnastics site with additional staff (both contract and salaried) being taken on and trained.

Section G Declaration

The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees’ report above.
