The band took part in the Holme Valley contest and provided entertainment throughout the year at the request of local organisations, including a partnership with the Rotary Club for a Christmas concert. The band was runner up in a national competition for lighting products. Ceiling panel lights were purchased at a discount and batton lights given free of charge to improve the band room lighting and move to 100% LED. Further minor works were carried out to repair the roof, a plumbing leak and fire extinguishers refilled. Two instruments required repair and new music stands and lights were purchased.
