Attendances increased<br>and notably two concerts at Grimsby Minster<br>were sell outs.  The band took part in the<br>Holme Valley contest and provided<br>entertainment throughout the year at the<br>request of  local organisations, including a<br>partnership with the Rotary Club for a<br>Christmas concert.<br>The band was runner up in a national<br>competition for lighting products.  Ceiling<br>panel lights were purchased at a discount<br>and batton lights given free of charge to<br>improve the band room lighting and move to<br>100% LED.  Further minor works were<br>carried out to repair the roof, a plumbing leak<br>and fire extinguishers refilled.  Two<br>instruments required repair and new music<br>stands and lights were purchased.  A<br>donation was made for instruments received<br>from a defunct local brass band.|
