Nugent is a charity that has operated in the North West of England since 1881. Our mission is to educate, care, protect and inspire those in need through offering education, health and social care services.
Objects: 1) To Provide For The Relief And Care Of Young Children Through The Establishment And Provision Of An Adoption Agency Or Service And Fostering Facilities. 2) Maintenance And Provision Of Residential Accommodation And/or Supportive Community Services For Families, Parents Needing Support And Children In Need. 3) The Advancement Of Education And Religion Among Children With Special Needs By Establishing And Supporting Specialist Schools, Children's Homes Or Community Based Provision For Advancing The Care, Education And Training Of Such Children And In Accordance With The Roman Catholic Foundation Of The Charity.4) The Support Of People With Physical And/or Learning Disabilities Generally By The Establishment And Maintenance Of Residential Accommodation, Day Provision Or Community Based Provision Or Listening And Advocacy Services In Order That Their Quality Of Life May Be Improved.5) The Provision And Maintenance For Older People In Need Of Residential Accommodation, Day Provision Or Other Community Services Specially Designed Or Adapted To Meet Their Individual Needs.6) The Support Of Such Other Charitable Purposes For The Furtherance Of Education Or The Relief Of Poverty Or Suffering Of Those In Need As The Trustee From Time To Time Thinks Fit.
