Para 1.20 | As Covid restrictions eased, we have been supporting our families through a mixture of online and in person events, including: Trip to London Zoo An activity day with a choice of Go Ape and Battersea Children’s Zoo, joining together for a picnic afterwards Issuing bravery awards to encourage children going through challenges Running a Christmas card design competition Webinars, including school starting, women’s support socials, science of gene therapy and shared patient experiences Needle phobia online workshop Both the London Zoo trip and the Battersea trip had around 150 attendees, and were great opportunities to meet up, making new connections and supporting each other in person after a long time apart. |
