Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main Salford Mental Health Forum (SMHF) meetings have continued to be achievements of the charity delivered predominantly online following the pandemic. during the year SMHF members have met and spoken about their experiences, making suggestions about shaping the future of mental health services in Salford. We have also offered engagement opportunities to members for specific services at local events and consultations. The trustees took the difficult decision not to continue the peer support project as, post Covid Pandemic, we need to enhance our structure before expanding the services we offer. We have engaged members to help set the future direction of SMHF and are currently in the process of recruiting new members and trustees to enable us to deliver the next stage of SMHF’s journey.

It also sets aside seed funding for projects developed by members of the forum to meet the charitable objectives of the charity for the benefit of the public.
