We have also offered engagement opportunities to members for specific services at local events and consultations. The trustees took the difficult decision not to continue the peer support project as, post Covid Pandemic, we need to enhance our structure before expanding the services we offer. We have engaged members to help set the future direction of SMHF and are currently in the process of recruiting new members and trustees to enable us to deliver the next stage of SMHF’s journey. ## **Section E Financial review** The trustees aimed to end the year with free reserves of around £4000. **Brief statement of the** We currently have free reserves of £4668. This fund acts as a contingency in the event of a sudden reduction in income, to protect the future operation of the organisation from the effects of unforeseen variations in its income and expenditure.
