Summary of the objects of the
charity set out in its
governing document
Summary of the main
activities undertaken for the
public benefit in relation to
these objects (include within
this section the statutory
declaration that trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public
benefit)
To provide relief, and give a space for families to heal and gain comfort
for devastated families in need who have experienced distress and
bereavement as a consequence of a late miscarriage by the provision of
a burial and memorial garden.
Currently raising funds to obtain a plot of land for the much needed burial
garden. This burial garden will allow us all a place to remember and lay to
rest our sons and daughters who have been born through a late
miscarriage. The garden will provide a sanctuary for parents to heal and
gain comfort through their grief and loss after losing their baby angel.
With no legal birth certificate for the baby they hold in their arms, families
are devasted and are suffering in isolation. The garden will help cherish
and recognise their baby’s life by allowing them in our hearts and give
them a place to exist in our World for Eternity.
This garden has the vision to be used to bring the whole family together,
where siblings can play to together to unite the family when one or some
siblings are missing. We have the vision of an angel statue, where the
wings are made up with feathers with the lost baby’s name on. (These
can be names of babies lost through all types of baby loss.
We have been raising funds through charity events, all limited through the
Cost Of Living Crisis.
Meetings were held to set out marketing signage and ways to give us
presence in events and providing advertising to make public aware of our
charity. We talked of ways to raise funds through the cost of living crisis
and also gain awareness of baby loss.
We have researched and searched for suitable land. We are currently
working closely with members of the council and legal representatives to
acquire land for us to develop the burial garden and get it up and running.

Section D Achievements and performance

We have raised funds through collection pots and selling of flap jacks Summary of the main situated in local businesses and shops. We aim to distribute more to achievements of the charity alternative premises. during the year We are still working closely with influential people who we are still currently working with us to obtain suitable land. These include Councillors/ MPs and legal representatives who are keen for our charity to succeed and are helping to support and obtain land that we can develop. We are arranging for a suitable time to look at land to see if its suitable.

We continue to develop our website and are looking into adding a shop to allow products to be sold.

We have worked on Cycling British Championship events and had a stall where we continue to raise awareness of baby loss.

The Freemasons continue to be a great support and help raise funds towards our charity and listen to our aims and goals. Carboots have been used to sell products and advertise the charity.

Trustee, Kay, took part in a charity SW 50K walk dressed as a monkey to continue to raise funds and awareness.

We are working together to think of ways we can get more general public involved in runs etc to raise funds.

As land is in talks and hopeful that land will be available to us, we have been thinking of ways to develop it and make it aesthetically pleasing.
