- (A)To advance the arts, in particular the performing arts for the benefit of the public, particularly but not exclusively, through public performance, theatre, playwriting and drama which challenges audience perceptions of social issues; and (B) to advance the education of young people and the general public in performing and dramatic arts, particularly but not exclusively, through the provision of workshops, performance, public discussion and other educational programmes.
2.2 Trustee Selection Methods
Doll’s Eye Trust currently has four charity Trustees with a range of necessary skills and experience necessary to manage the charity efectively. On our Board we have legal expertise, as well as education and fundraising. Trustees are appointed or re-appointed
by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees.
3 Activities, Achievements & Performance
3.1 Statutory Declaration
The Trustees confirm that they have paid due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit in deciding what activities the charity should undertake.
3.2 Overview (Executive Summary)
This year, Doll’s Eye Trust did not conduct any charitable activities. There was a funding application made to Arts Council England which was unsuccessful. No fundraising activities were undertaken, and as such no funds were raised. Charity advisors commit their time in a voluntary basis and aside from writing the funding application, were unable to commit any more time to fundraising for Doll’s Eye Trust, in the context of their own full-time employment.
4 Financial Review
4.1 Details of Any Funds Materially in Deficit
The Charity has no funds which are materially in deficit.
4.2 Principal Sources of Funding and Outgoings

No fundraising activities were undertaken in the reporting year, and no outgoings made.
4.3 Remuneration of Trustees
All Trustees act in a voluntary capacity and receive no remuneration or other material benefits from their services to the Charity.
Out-of-pocket expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred by Trustees in promoting the purposes of the Charity are reimbursed at cost.
