The preservation of the heritage of Simonsbath and Exmoor parish( including by preserving buildings or sites of historic or architectural importance), rural regeneration in that area, and advancing education and understanding and appreciation of the history, heritage culture and traditions of Simonsbath and Exmoor.
Objects: 1) For The Public Benefit,to Preserve The Heritage Of Simonsbath And Exmoor Parish (In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By Preserving And Maintaining Buildings Or Sites Of Historic Or Architectural Importance);(2) For The Public Benefit, To Advance Education In, And Promote Understanding And Appreciation Of, The History, Heritage, Culture And Traditions Of Simonsbath And Exmoor Parish; (3)To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Simonsbath And Exmoor Parish And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise The Charity Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such As Centre For Activities Promoted By The CIO In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
