Preference Is Given To Female Applicants Of Not Less Than 55 Years Of Age And Of Modest Financial Means Who Have Lived In The Borough Of Guildford For Not Less Than Two Years. If On The Occasion Of A Vacancy There Is No Suitably Qualified Applicant, The Trustees May Appoint A Person Of Either Sex Who Is At Least 50 Years Old And Has A Connection With The County Of Surrey.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable.
