The objects of the CIO are, for the public benefit: For the public benefit, the advancement of education and the preservation of historical heritage by management and maintenance of a Summary of the objects of the heritage centre, and exhibition gallery in Dulverton, Somerset. charity set out in its governing document The trustees continued to manage and maintain the Heritage Centre and exhibition gallery in Dulverton. Sadly, the pandemic forced the closure of the centre to the public for the whole of 2020 but trustees and volunteers continued to work on research for future exhibitions in the centre. Various maintenance projects were carried out to ensure that the building was well looked after. Trustees met to consider and plan future exhibitions and the re-opening of the centre. Trustees had due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
In spite of the pandemic and forced closure of the Heritage Centre, trustees continued to manage and maintain the Heritage Centre and exhibition gallery in Dulverton. Trustees and volunteers continued to work on research for future exhibitions in the centre. Various maintenance projects were carried out to ensure that the building was well looked after. Trustees met to consider and plan future exhibitions and the re-opening of the centre.
