Littlehempston Community Orchard & Meadow CIO – Annual Report 2024
During the course of 2024 a number of activities took place which support the charity’s aims to preserve this old orchard, provide an environment which supports a range of wildlife and to provide a space which our community can use and enjoy. As well as workdays, we ran a Wassail and community apple pressing day. These events generated a small amount of income over and above covering the costs incurred in putting them on.
We have established an annual maintenance programme of mowing, brushcutting and hedge work.
