Treasurer’s Report on Prestbury Village Hall Accounts 31st March 2023

This financial year has seen a return to normal activity at the hall since the start of COVID in 2020. The hall has been busy with old and new regular users, kids parties and charity events.

Income

This year we have had a total income of £49,201

We have had an increase in the number of children’s parties this year, a total of 110 compared to last years 84. We did increase the cost of the parties from £30 for 2 hours to £20 per hour, this has resulted in an income of £4,927

We have had a total expenditure of £55,623

Building and Ground Maintenance

Along with normal expenditure, this year we have had to replace the flat roof above the kitchen, we have replaced the mains water stop tap and have added a new heater to the Lounge Room. We have also had ongoing repairs with the water heater, boiler, toilets & outside taps and have repaired the external lights.
